A Family Heritage

The Italian surname, “Vacchiano” literally means “from the region of cows.”  For several generations before coming to the US, the Vacchiano family raised superior livestock on the fertile farmland in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius.

Celebrated for the robust richness and uniquely satisfying flavor of their meats, the family brought their skills to the fertile farmlands of New Jersey’s Skylands region.

Today, we raise beef, pork and poultry livestock using the all-natural, old-world practices of their heritage.

The new farmhouse store in Readington, NJ offers all of the best meats as well as a wide selection of cheeses, homemade sauces, condiments, prepared foods, bakery items and Italian delicacies.  Don’t forget a bottle of Vacchiano Table Wine to complete your meal!
